There is nothing more frustrating in a gym then when there are not enough dumbbells, or heavy enough dumbbells, for an ambitious member to use, in order to progress farther than otherwise possible. Why is it that many people can bench press more than 315 pounds on an Olympic bar, yet when it comes to dumbbell bench presses (which is a far superior exercise for building the chest muscles) they rarely use more than 100 pound dumbbells? It is likely because the gym they train at only has dumbbells going up to 100 pounds. What if the gym did have dumbbells up to 150 pounds? Would it not seem logical that an ambitious work person would be progressing to at least 150 pound dumbbells? And what if the gym had dumbbells up to 200 pounds? Or up to 250 pounds? Sometimes the gym we train at, sets a barrier for us, as to how much progress we are able to make based on the equipment they have available for us to use.
That is why at BODYPRO GYM we made three important decisions when we planned our dumbbell room:
- To have two full sets of dumbbells from 5 pounds to 100 pounds, so that no one ever has to wait for dumbbells to be freed up in order to use them.
- To provide our members with dumbbells from 105 pounds to 250 pounds. In order for our members to have the ability to improve beyond the normal, without limits.
- To equip our Dumbbell Studio with specialty benches made with Dumbbell Spotter Stands for flat dumbbell bench pressing, incline dumbbell pressing, decline dumbbell pressing and shoulder press dumbbell pressing. Our members can now use heavy dumbbells in all these exercises without the need for a training partner to hand them heavy dumbbells. This also reduces the chance for injuries trying to awkwardly lift the dumbbells to the starting position of each exercise. Our Dumbbell Spotter Benches were custom made and one of a kind, making our Dumbbell Studio very unique.
That is why BODYPRO GYM is a serious gym for serious people.
